Peak Neurofeedback is a busy private practice, providing neurofeedback for clients of all ages seeking treatment for a variety of issues such as trauma, anxiety, migraines, insomnia, head injury and more.
As a technician, you will be working one-on-one with patients who receive neurofeedback therapy following a specifically designed treatment plan for the individual.
Because of the level of investment and training provided, we are asking for at least a one-year commitment.
Qualifications:
No prior knowledge of this modality is necessary, a person entering into this role will be trained to perform and understand this treatment modality.
An undergraduate degree or progression toward a degree in psychology, neuroscience, or equivalent field is preferred but not necessary.
Passion for continuous learning and helping people.
Works efficiently and productively in independent and team environments.
Strong written and communication skills.
Active listener.
Skilled in troubleshooting through technical issues.
Responsibilities:
Client management including but not limited to Initial contact, scheduling, payment, and general intake.
Person in this role will be trained to set up and unhook neurofeedback clients as well as set up and input neurofeedback protocols into the computer program that runs the protocols.
Record and maintain session training information and client progression.
Ensure a safe, sanitary, and confidential environment for all clients.
