SUMMARY
This role is involved in all aspects of technical packaging development for the bar soap and liquids platforms in the health and beauty market. The incumbent plays an integral role in problem solving, concept screening, artwork processing, full scale commercial production, and is an important member of a cross-functional product development team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Development Projects - 80%
Technical member of cross functional New Product Development Account Teams to work professionally with Formulation Development, Sales, and Account Management providing packaging support and management on new product development projects and existing SKU improvements.
o Ensure packaging solutions meet internal and external customer expectations in regards to visual appearance, performance, and manufacturability.
o Collaborate on sourcing creative packaging materials and designs from outside vendors.
o Provide technical support to manufacturing on new and existing products.
o Create purchasing specifications for all packaging materials that are used in production.
o Create assembly specifications (Product Spec) for new and existing SKUs to ensure accurate direction to operations on how to manufacturer a product that meets or exceeds customer expectations.
o Liaise closely with external vendors and customers to ensure timely execution of development projects, including artwork development.
o Collaborate with operations and Packaging Engineers on line trials and pilots to manage and reduce the risk of new product launches.
o Distill line trial findings into knowledge growth for the company.
Innovation - 10%
Support the Twincraft drive for Innovation by translating market insights and unmet consumer needs into viable prototypes.
o Demonstrable experience in the use of Adobe Creative suite.
o Participate in ideation sessions.
o Flesh out ideas into full concepts.
o Provide technical expertise in the evaluation of the business viability of concepts and prototypes throughout the innovation cycle.
o Initiate and lead trial runs. Make decisions (i.e. adjust process conditions) during trial and formally report results.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor of Science in Packaging Science or other related field is preferred. Suitable packaging development experience with a different degree is also appropriate. The position requires project management savvy and effective communication skills in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple projects. Experience of Adobe Creative suite in artwork development and graphical rendering is an asset.
SCOPE AND IMPACT ON OTHERS
Maintain a flexible, positive and willing attitude along with open, professional communication with Manufacturing, Sales, Account Management, Customers, Suppliers, etc. to facilitate the introduction of new products. The role has a high degree of computer work involved, in addition to cross functional and department meetings.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
