Strategic Sales Development Intern
Reading Plus is looking for a Strategic Sales Intern who is ready to learn about the various channels of EdTech sales and market strategy, including education funding, proposal development, and market research.
You are looking for a paid, full-time 12-week internship that will challenge you to bring your very best every day.
As a remote worker, you will be available to meet virtually with your manager and teammates during normal business hours (8:
30am to 5pm ET) as needed.
You are deadline-drive, detail-oriented, and have a fabulous sense of humor.
Applicants will need reliable Internet access and must have a computer.
Responsibilities:
Research and analyze state education budgetsHelp create and maintain a weekly legislative digest for different selling territoriesComplete datasets of funding, legislation, curriculum and assessment standards Convert state profiles database from third-party service to sharable resource.
Conduct competitor analysis.
Research grants and generate a calendar of grant availabilitySupport the development of a proposal content databaseManage the coordination and creation of image files for proposals Experience and Skills:
Currently enrolled in a program resulting in a BS in Marketing, Business, Public Relations, Public Policy, Government, English, or other related fieldExceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Comfort and enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneouslyFamiliarity with the Google suite (docs, sheets, etc.
) and ExcelExperience with monday.
com or Airtable is a plus.
